Recently, GZU won a number of awards in the 19th Mathematical Modelling Competition and the 4th Artificial Intelligence Competition.
In the “China Optics Valley - Huawei Cup” 19th China Postgraduate Mathematical Modelling Competition held on 14th December, GZU teams performed well and won 1 first prize, 27 second prizes, 35 third prizes and 141 excellent prizes.
On December 11th, as the “Huawei Cup” 4th China Postgraduate Artificial Intelligence Competition came to an end, GZU team of "SiZhiBao - Artificial Intelligence-based Judicial Assistance Platform" won the third prize, and Guizhou University won the Excellent Organization Award.
The “China Postgraduate Mathematical Modelling Competition” is one of the thematic events of the “China Postgraduate Practical Innovation Competitions Series”. It is guided by the Department of Degree Management & Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and organized by Association of Chinese Graduate Education and the Children & Youth Science Centre of the China Association for Science and Technology.It is an academic competition for postgraduate students to conduct applied research in mathematical modelling. It is also a platform for postgraduate students to improve their ability of building mathematical models, to solve problemswith the aid of Internet information technology, and to cultivate a spirit of scientific innovation and teamwork.



The “China Postgraduate Artificial Intelligence Innovation Competition” is guided by the Department of Degree Management & Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and organized by Association of Chinese Graduate Education and the Children & Youth Science Centre of the China Association for Science and Technology. It is a high-level national competition widely recognized by domestic and foreign postgraduate training institutions and enterprises.
