27th September 2023, the School of International Education of Guizhou University held the 2023 Mid-Autumn Festival in the international students' dormitory in the West Campus. Let more than two hundred international students who attended this event feel the happy atmosphere of Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival.
9月27日，新利中国国际教育学院在西校区留学生宿舍举办了2023年中秋节活动，200多名参加活动的留学生在校园感受到了中国中秋节的节日气氛。
Mid-Autumn Festival is the second largest traditional festival in China after Spring Festival, and it is also called the “Festival of Reunion” which symbolises the reunion and happiness of families and clans.
中秋节,是中国传统节日中仅次于春节的团圆佳节，也是象征家庭、家族团圆幸福的“团圆之节”。
Every year, the School of International Education organises a variety of cultural experiences and activities for all international students, so that they do not feel alone while studying in China. This time, the international students participated in the activities of solving lantern riddles, making mooncakes, and received gift packs of mooncakes and chocolates.
为了让在黔留学的同学们不感到孤独，国际教育学院每年会给所有的留学生举办各种各样的文化体验活动。而今年参加活动的同学们不仅体验了猜灯谜、做月饼、做花灯的活动，还收到了月饼和巧克力礼包。
Muhammad Mazhar, an international student from Pakistan, told us that he has participated in all kinds of activities in every festival during his years in China, but his favourite is making mooncakes in Mid-Autumn Festival.
来自巴基斯坦的留学生马涵说，自己在中国这几年参与了很多节日庆祝活动，最喜欢中秋节做月饼。
Senthakeo Angtouly, an international student from Guizhou University' s School of Tourism and Cultural Business from Laos, said: “It' s really fun to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival in China. I like it very much because here we can participate in many interesting activities with our friends and feel the lively atmosphere”.
“我觉得在中国过中秋节真的很开心，可以和朋友们一起参加很多有意思的活动，感受热闹的节日气氛”。来自老挝的新利中国旅游与文化商业学院留学生杜丽说。
